In addition to selling on this online store site, in our gallery, and at exhibitions around the United States, we hold four auctions a year that are all full of great automobilia. You can subscribe to our two auction catalogs for our June and December mail order auctions. We also hold two automobilia auctions a year exclusively online. Our auctions have met with extremely successful results for both the collectors and those who have consigned their treasured artifacts. |
Owned by Jacques Vaucher, who from the age of four was the unofficial test driver of pedal and motorized cars for “Eureka”, a toy manufacturer in France owned by his Godfather. This fascination with speed continued as did his dream of being a race car driver. His schooling at Winfield, France’s famous racing school, lead him to different forms of racing. Jacques found his niche in Touring car endurance championships in the U.S. and produced winning results at Limerock and Watkins Glen. Concurrently, he sold Maseratis for the importer Bob Grossman and later managed the New York showroom of Ferrari Importer Luigi Chinetti. Jacques turned the showroom into a gallery, covering the walls with automotive art, and the floor with Ferraris displayed as moving sculptures. Now with somewhat slower reflexes, he continues his passion as the owner of America’s preeminent automotive art gallery and auction house, which in 2005 celebrated its 30-year anniversary in business. In the extensive collection, you will find the most important artists and automobilia from the 1890’s to date.
The collection of vintage posters is one of the best available on the market today and, in addition, over the last few years Mr. Vaucher has acquired motorcycle, airplane and boat memorabilia. |
