Concours Packards by Harold Cleworth, USA, late 1990's, large oil on canvas, features a pair of 1938 Custom Eights, the one in foreground is resplendent with grille shutters closed and its cormorant mascot proudly atop the radiator while the big Trippe fog lights are ready for duty as the chrome bumper reflects other cars in the field. Both have hoods open to show off their well tuned engines, this was the original work for one of the artist’s better selling prints, signed lower right, framed, overall size 61.25" x 46", A+ cond.
