WWII BMW aluminum cigarette lighter and ashtray, Germany, given to an American GI at the end of WWII by a German lathe worker at the BMW factory in Regensburg, the plant had been producing turbojet engines for the Messerschmitt 262 and Arado 234, and the lighter was hand-machined in the shape of a 25mm shell, the ashtray was milled from aircraft alloy and features the BMW rondel inlaid in the center, lighter 7.5” tall, ashtray 4.25” dia., A- cond., (minor scratches), lot of 2.
